Prague, August 31, 2024 – In a significant and generous gesture, DOK-ING, a leading private company specializing in advanced robotic systems, made history by donating its MV-4 Demining Robotic System to the Ukrainian State Special Transport Service (SSTS). This landmark donation, presented during the prestigious GLOBSEC Forum in Prague, underscores DOK-ING’s steadfast commitment to enhancing safety and security in Ukraine.

The MV-4 Demining Robotic System, known for its cutting-edge technology and efficiency in clearing landmines, represents a crucial contribution to the collaborative efforts aimed at rebuilding and securing conflict-affected regions. The official transfer of ownership of the MV-4 Robotic System was conducted by Mr. Vjekoslav Majetić, the esteemed founder and owner of DOK-ING. The ceremony was further honored by the presence of Ivan Anušić, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister of the Republic of Croatia, highlighting the strong support and solidarity between nations in addressing global security challenges.

The handover took place in Prague during the panel discussion titled “Demining: Stage Zero of the Reconstruction of Ukraine,” a key session at this year’s GLOBSEC Forum. The panel, moderated by Martin Sklenár, GLOBSEC’s Distinguished Fellow and Former Minister of Defence of Slovakia, brought together key stakeholders to discuss the essential role of demining in Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts.
