The primary goal of this event is to underscore the strategic importance of the health resilience of the EU population for its security and prosperity. The capability of the EU's diverse health systems to address the complex challenges of modern healthcare and ensure the well-being of its citizens will be pivotal for the bloc's global aspirations. This significant challenge necessitates the joint and coordinated efforts of the European Commission and all Member States. However, it is equally important to recognize that each Member State is different, and, in many cases, it needs to initiate its own policies, in its own pace and structure to motivate healthier behaviours and habits among its population. Leading experts from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) will discuss these goals from the perspective of their respective countries and share insights on 1. Future economic sustainability of healthcare systems. 2. Steps to achieve greater adaptability, flexibility, and self-sufficiency. 3. A need for coordinated policies to enhance public health across the EU. 4.Strategic role of active involvement from citizens and patients
