Associate Analyst for Western Balkans, EU Institute for Security Studies

Bojana Zorić is an Associate Analyst for the Western Balkans at the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS). With more than ten years of experience working in and on the Western Balkans, she leads the analysis of security developments in the context of enlargement, transatlantic relations, third-party influence, and other day-to-day developments that affect the Euro-Atlantic security infrastructure.  

She is currently completing a PhD in Security Studies at Masaryk University, where she examines the scope and impact of Turkish foreign policy in the Western Balkans. Bojana holds two MA degrees: one in European Union-Russia Studies from the University of Tartu, and another in Russian Philology and Pedagogy from the University of Zagreb. Bojana has contributed to book volumes published by Routledge and Springer, including the Handbook of Political Science and International Relations, and has published in several peer-reviewed journals focusing on security developments in Southeast Europe.
