State Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway
Eivind Vad Petersson has served as the State Secretary for the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs since October 2021.
Previously, he worked as a diplomat at the Norwegian Embassies in South Sudan, South Africa, and Germany. He has also acted as the Foreign and Defence Policy Adviser of the Labour Party Parliamentary Group.
He studied European and International Politics in London and Oslo.
