Frank Gardner is the BBC’s fulltime Security Correspondent covering global security stories from Ukraine to Gaza, from Colombia to the Arctic. In 2004 he and his cameraman were ambushed by Al-Qaida terrorists while on assignment in Saudi Arabia. Frank was shot 6 times but survived with partial paralysis in the legs. He is the author of 5 bestselling books. His latest novel, ‘Invasion’, is set in the South China Sea.
