Lesia Ogryzko is Director of the Sahaidachnyi Security Center, a newly formed think tank in Kyiv. She is also visiting fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations and board member of the RISE Ukraine – the country’s biggest expert coallition on reconstruction, where she leads international cooperation.
Previously, Lesia served as international civil servant across the UN system as well as worked in Ukraine’s Government, in the Reforms Delivery Office of the Cabinet of Ministers on the reforms implementation, including the public administration. At the beginning of Russia’s war in Donbas she co-founded Ukraine’s office of the international humanitarian organization Save the Children. In the past she worked in the Spanish think-tank FRIDE and Ukraine’s Center for Defence Strategies.
Lesia holds an MA in international relations and security studies from the Institute of international relations (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv) and an MA in European public affairs from the Maastricht University (the Netherlands).
