Mansour Almarzoqi

Dr. Mansour Almarzoqi is an assistant professor of political science at Prince Saud al-Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies in Riyadh. He is the director of the Center for Strategic Studies, and the Center for American Studies, at the Institute. Simultaneously, he is the director of the Security and Political Program at King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, in Riyadh. Previously, he was Vice-President for Strategic Studies and Research as well as Director General of the Department of Think Tanks, at the Saudi Center for International Strategic Partnerships. He holds a bachelor degree in English literature and a bachelor degree in political science, both from Oregon State University, USA; a master degree in comparative politics from Sciences Po Paris, France; and a PhD in political science from Sciences Po de Lyon, University of Lyon II, France. He is an occasional contributor to peer-reviewed journals, publications of think-tanks, research centres, as well as to newspapers.
