Oliver Rieche is the Director of Legal Affairs, Carbon Procurement & NDC Partnership at Balance Eco Ltd. Previously, he was an associate at global law firm Reed Smith in London, working in the Environment, Health and Safety department. Oliver’s career includes significant international experience, having worked on Western Balkan issues at the European External Action Service in Brussels, the German Embassy in the Dominican Republic, a political think tank in Washington, D.C., and UNHCR in Kuala Lumpur.
As a member of several youth leadership communities, including Global Bridges, ChangemakerXchange, and Global Changemakers, Oliver has a strong interest in civil society. Oliver holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law with Politics (University of Manchester) and two Master’s degrees in Public International Law (University of Cambridge) and Commercial Legal Practice (BPP University, London).
