Vassilis Koutsoumpas is a lawyer (LL.B/LL.M) with extensive experience in NGO management and development. As a policy advisor at the General Secretariat for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, he conducted legislative research and drafted legislation. During his time at the Municipality of Athens, he focused on social welfare policy and public-private partnerships with Non-Governmental Organizations.
Vassilis is the Co-founder and former Executive Director of WeFor, an NGO addressing Gen Z challenges. His work earned him a spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Greece. He holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown University, specializing in AI policy and trade relations.
In the private sector, Vassilis worked as a Consulting Associate for Brunswick Group, serving financial and tech industries. He is also a Clinton Foundation Fellow, an Onassis Foundation Scholar, and a member of the Strategic Advisory Board of the Network for Reform in Greece and Europe. Vassilis speaks English, French, German, and Greek.
