Zoran Dimitrovski was appointed Deputy Minister at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia and Foreign Trade on 23 of July 2024.
Zoran Dimitrovski is a professional journalist, having worked for 35 years for the main Macedonian printed media. During his professional career he was an editor in chief of 3 prominent Macedonian daily newspapers, Nova Makedonija, Vecher and Dnevnik, as well as of the political weekly Fokus.
He was a correspondent from Washington DC, USA, for the Macedonian daily Nova Makedonija from 2001-2004.
Dimitrovski is an author of more than 1500 essays, columns, analyses, interviews, investigative pieces, published throughout the Macedonian printed and electronic media.
He graduated Journalism at the State university of St. Cyril and Methodius in 1988, and is a Master of Political Science from the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, since 1995.
He teaches Critical Thinking and Analytical Writing at the Graduate Studies of Media Management and Management of Strategic Communication at the Institute of Communication Studies in Skopje.
He has also taught Writing for Journalists and Investigative Journalism at the School of Journalism and Public relations from 2010-2015.
He was an instructor of a number of professional trainings for Investigative Journalism, Story-telling Journalism, the phenomenon of Fake News and other professional trainings organized by the Association of Macedonian Journalists of Macedonia, the Institute of Communication Studies, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung etc.
Dimitrovski joined Democratic Union, a center political party in 2019 and became its Secretary General.
He served as a Deputy Minister of Local Self-Government from 2020 to 2023.
